The fluid end repair process starts with an inspection assessment to determine if the fluid end can be repaired. The fluid end is first steam cleaned to remove grease, dirt & oils & then sandblasted so that magnetic particle inspection can be performed to detect cracks in the critical high pressure areas. After Magnetic Particle inspection the fluid end is thoroughly inspected for wear, dimensional sizes, thread conditions, washed out areas, jetted areas, etc. & a detailed report along with a repair estimate is generated & submitted to the customer for approval. After customer approval the fluid end is restored to original manufacturer specifications using welding & machining processes. After the fluid end is restored to original manufacturer’s specifications the fluid end repairs are then 100% inspected to insure form fit & function.
